Subject: AC&C 2008 - Information Update: Registering
with Acadia U.
Date: April 5, 2008 10:16:15 PM ADT
Now that your chapter has submitted your contest entry
form and you’ve taken care of paying for your
AEP, and had a moment to look at the items at the Barbershop
Boutique so you can send that order in this week, I’m
please to tell you that the room registration is up
and working!
The Acadia Box office is ready to take
room/meal plan registrations! There is no panic to
pay for your rooms—there is no one else using
the two residences that we will be in. Please take care
of the other expenses first and then slide this one
in, in a couple of weeks. (You will have to pay when
you register though.)
Few things to take note of for those registering
on line or by phone:
- Please remember to insert
your Chapter name in the “ADDITIONAL INFORMATION” field if
you are registering online so that you are booked
into the block of rooms that have been reserved
for your chapter.
- One of the residences has
only single rooms and
approx 220+ people will be in that building. The
second building has mostly doubles (2 to a room), and 80+
will be in there; chapters/individuals
staying in this building will have to register by
phone only.
(This applies to Codiac Chords
and Mel-O-Dees - if
you wouldn’t
mind calling the toll free number to register, please
and thanks)
- There is only one meal plan (sorry—I tried
L ). Some chapters have indicated that they would
like to go out for supper on Saturday evening, so
we have dropped Saturday supper from the meal card.
For those who do not want to leave the campus, you
are more than welcome to have meals delivered in (Swiss
Chalet/pizza places etc.). I will put together a list
of restaurants for those who would like to make reservations
to go out.
- Meal Plan:
- Thursday Supper
- all 3 meals
Friday
- Saturday Breakfast (The Saturday Banquet is
included in your AEP)
- Sunday Breakfast
- Details regarding designated lounges for each chapter,
and any other amenities available on the floors should
be available by the time we meet for the Area Council
meeting later this month.
Thanks for your patience!
